Defining Patterns and Behaviours of Forward Spatter Gunshot Misting
نویسندگان
چکیده
The purpose of this research was to study forward-spatter misting patterns by shooting a firearm through chamber blood encased in ballistic gel determine if there is relationship between bloodstain pattern size as function distance and orientation. There lack on forward spatter, travelling the direction bullet, most studies focus back opposite bullet. A bullet fired containing chamber, depositing bloodstains onto large sheet butcher paper target surface. In total, were 34 trials. distances observed 10, 20, 40, 80 cm, angles tested 30°, 60°, 90°. orientation varied. criterion established observe overall area symmetry patterns. Statistical analyses indicated negative linear relation paper’s angle (R2 = 0.78) vertical 0.87). can impact pattern’s size.

although there are studies on pragmatic assessment, to date, literature has been almost silent about native and non-native english raters’ criteria for the assessment of efl learners’ pragmatic performance. focusing on this topic, this study pursued four purposes. the first one was to find criteria for rating the speech acts of apology and refusal in l2 by native and non-native english teachers...

Quantitative bloodstain analysis: differentiation of contact transfer patterns versus spatter patterns on fabric via microscopic inspection.
In crime scene reconstruction, it is often necessary to differentiate "contact transfer" and "spatter" bloodstain patterns found on clothing. Current methodologies, however, are qualitative and prone to context bias. In this work, we demonstrate that microscopic inspection of the stain orientations provides a quantitative differentiation of bloodstains resulting from spatter versus contact tran...
متن کاملSpatter Tracking in Laser Machining
In laser drilling, an assist gas is often used to remove material from the drilling point. In order to design assist gas nozzles to minimize spatter formation, measurements of spatter trajectories are required. We apply computer vision methods to measure the 3D trajectories of spatter particles in a laser cutting event using a stereo camera configuration. We also propose a novel method for cali...
متن کاملDefining Behaviours for Solids in a Visual Design Environment
The design of structured objects is frequently accomplished with the use of Computer-Aided Design ( CAD ) systems, some of which allow for parametrised designs, which represent families of objects. Some existing CAD systems permit parametrisation by providing interfaces to programming languages, leading to a sharp division between the visual and programming aspects of building complex designs. ...
